No workouts. I was still not feeling great on Friday, but could have definitely worked out on Saturday and Sunday. Veray emailed a couple of times to invite me to workout with Hilary and her, but my schedule wasn’t open at that time. Crap…I know! Veray was also quite disappointed as I have not been logging my food for the last few days…well, that’s because I have been shoveling anything that isn’t nailed down into my mouth! Also, the fact that we were entertaining on both Saturday and Sunday didn’t help my ‘diet’ either.
PROMISE TO SELF:
1. Starting Monday, will write down EVERYTHING consumed with caloric value.
2. Set out a meal plan for the week.
My greatest downfall is actually not not exercising (even though I haven’t done any for the last 5 days!), but the fact that my food intake is all over the place is what is killing my progress. Don’t get me wrong, I know that Veray said that I need to be exercising 6 days a week (strength training on 4 days and cardio on all 6 days) and I am averaging about 4-5 days a week. But, even if I was to stay at the 4-5 days of exercise (which I don’t intend on doing…I will be upping it to 6 days…and fast!) I would definitely lose more weight and inches if I had more discipline over what I put in my mouth. So, here’s the problem…I don’t eat till I am starving and at that point I either don’t have the energy to cook for myself, or haven’t planned ahead and don’t have what I need to make a healthy meal. A meal plan should remedy both those problems.

Exercise (6 days a week) + Food Plan (sticking to it!) = Hot Bod by Feb 14th, 2009
You know what; I feel that my body is actually missing working out. I am sure Veray is going to make-up for lost time though!

Do you have a vacuum sealer? I love mine. When I do have the time, I cook a ton of boneless skinless chicken breasts and fish, then I let cool in the fridge in a plastic dish or bag, and then vaccum seal and freeze. When I need a quick, healthy meal, I pick one out and heat it in the microwave, add some Steamfresh veggies and I'm good to go.
