POST 10

A couple of days back the fitness tip of the day yesterday was:

Did you overeat this holiday weekend? Don't feel guilty about it, because it is O.K. to let go every now and then. But, recommit today to eat well and keep exercising.
Very apt!

I want to reevaluate my goal -- I feel that my current goal is actually driving me towards failure rather than success. Even when I have lost some weight in a week, I focus on how I didn’t achieve my desired weight loss for that week rather than the fact that ‘I HAVE ACTUALLY LOST WEIGHT’!! I also believe that the goal I set for myself was too aggressive.

Therefore, please note below my goal going forward:

Lose 1.5 lbs every week

If I meet my new goal, I will weigh between 172-173.5 for my brother’s wedding on 14th Feb. I would like to weigh a little less than that for the wedding…let’s see how I do. Maybe we can kick it up a notch nearer the time.

Date: 12/01/08 ‘Ugly Day’

Weight – 188 lb (Can’t for the time when i am going to be happy typing this number!!)
Body Fat - 40%
Total Inches – 293.5”

Average Weight Loss Per Week – l.3 lbs
Total Weight Lost – 12 lbs
Total Inches Lost – 18”

Helpful Tip:
Hilary gave me this one…put lemon/lime and ice in your water and drink it with a straw. It really does help...feel like you are having a cocktail…well, kindda!!

  1. Hey girl,

Good job re: your "Ugly Day!" I think you need to change the name of it though. Something more optimistic-sounding. Hmm...

The lemon/lime & straw really do help. Otherwise, water is too boring.
